Elaine, yes, that disparity needs to be eliminated and we agree that women need to have complete control over their bodies. Good points, and the Community Planet’s description in the “How do we reach consensus section in Chapter 4 of The Next Evolution describes how we would insure equality.

Will the power disparity between men and women in all industrial cultures be eradicated? What about a woman’s right to choose how many children (if any) to have? The communities will not be sustainable if an unsustainable number of children are born. Unless women have complete reproductive and economic and spiritual autonomy, the communities will become mini patriarchies.
